Entire Home Renovation in Richmond
This small home overlooks one of the best views in Vermont but was challenged with needed repairs, poor energy efficiency, small separate rooms, low ceilings and limited windows. The client had a limited budget and wanted to maintain the footprint, recently renovated kitchen, and bathrooms.
Project included: interior demolition and redesign, skylights, doors and deck with cable rail, electrical system updates, refinished floors, energy efficient insulation, new roof, driveway resurfacing, propane heating, chimney repairs and painting.
The result? Fantastic open format with post and beam features. Raised bead board ceilings feature sky lights to let the sun in. Sliding door to the deck lets in the view with cable rail system around the deck. Accessible storage was added to the attic space and the home is now much more energy efficient.

Major Remodel and Repairs - Summer Cottages Lake Champlain
These pair of cabins sit on a bluff in Mallets Bay with views of the lake and Adirondacks. The cabins were in disrepair needing new roofing, sub flooring and floors. The owners also wanted to upgrade the kitchen in the main cabin. The project needed to be split over two years to allow the client to use their seasonal camps during the summer months with work happening in the spring and fall.
Project included: kitchen remodel in the main cabin, washer dryer added to guest cabin under butcher block counter, interior repairs and upgrades, major electrical system upgrades, gas stove and appliances, new roofs, painting, septic upgrade, new water system, replaced sub floors, new flooring and staining of mahogany deck system.
